The Capilano Accounting Association is proud to give back to their
community committing at least one day of volunteering every fall and
spring semester. In December 2011 members spent two days organizing and
carrying out a food and clothing drive with all collections being
donated to the Harvest Project in North Vancouver. The Harvest Project ``helps clients find the support network they need for success... through
client care meetings, free clothing and groceries, life skills classes and connections
to other resources in the community.``
Capilano Accounting Association members collected food and clothing and helped organize the goods upon arrival. Additional household goods and toys that were collected were donated to Helping Families in Need. The day was a huge success and we look forward to helping out again in the future!
If you could benefit from volunteers from the Capilano Accounting Association please send us an e-mail and let us know how we can help your organization!
