Who we are and what we do:
The Accounting Association was created with two distinct objectives in mind:
1. To facilitate students pursuing an accounting career.
2. To provide a social environment for students and industry professionals.
Our association is made up of a group of students that wish to pursue a career in accounting and/or finance. Our mandate is to create a social network that interlinks our fellow students and professionals in industry by providing information, value, and support. Coming from a small and well connected university, we hope to highlight our unique qualities to potential employers.
Whether you're curious about accounting and finance and want to build your career before graduation, or are already well on your way, the Accounting Association is a great resource for you to take advantage of.
CPA
The Chartered Accountants and Certified Management Accountants of BC are
pursuing a merger and will be offering the new Chartered Professional
Accountant (CPA) program this September. The new CPA program will provide you
with a breadth of highly valued business and accounting skills, plus hands-on
experience that will ensure you meet the needs of businesses and organizations
of all sizes and across all sectors. It will give you a competitive edge in the
marketplace and create the foundation for a prosperous and exciting career in
Canada or abroad.
